From 18 to 21 August 2026, Poland hosted the MMAR 2026 International Conference (The International Conference on Methods and Models in Automation and Robotics).
The conference brought together researchers and specialists from different countries to discuss recent developments in automation, robotics, data processing, and related research areas.
Two staff members represented our department:
- Victoria Abramova presented the paper “Automation Problems in Terahertz Image Processing”, co-authored with colleagues from Lithuania. The research focuses on challenges in automating terahertz image processing.
- Bohdan Kovalenko presented the paper “Lossy Compression of HyperHeight LiDAR Forested Landscapes Data”, co-authored with colleagues from Poland and the United States. The research addresses the compression of LiDAR data collected for forested landscapes.
Participation in international scientific conferences provides valuable opportunities for academic exchange, international collaboration, and the presentation of the department’s research results to the international scientific community.
We congratulate our colleagues on their participation in MMAR 2026 and wish them continued success in their research and new international collaborations!
